The Sen Cello Duo was founded in 2024, formed by Núria Mena and Sergi Garcia, a couple
of cellists who share a deep personal and musical bond.
This connection has led them to explore a wide repertoire for two cellos: from classical repertoire
to their own arrangements of modern music, film soundtracks, and contemporary pieces.
Their goal is to bring the cello to new spaces and audiences, combining classical tradition
with arrangements of current music that connect with everyone.
Both graduated from the Escola Superior de Música de Catalunya,
where they were awarded top marks and the Honor Prize.
They were awarded First Prize at the 19th Edition of the Higini Anglès Chamber Music Competition
of the Diputació de Tarragona in 2025.
The duo has performed in numerous venues across Catalonia, including auditoriums,
theatres, concert halls, cultural centres, and historical sites, among others.
They are currently continuing to develop their project with an open mindset, enriching their
artistic proposal, creating new concert formats, and exploring new ways to move audiences.
